Jenna Lynch holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Maryland and an M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Oregon. She currently works as the Reading/Writing Specialist at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she tutors in the Academic Support Center and teaches critical reading and writing. Her experience includes helping students with their college admissions essays, resumes and CVs, cover letters and job applications. She has created and implemented several workshops to help students craft their admissions essays and edit and format their job application materials.
Her own work has appeared in Construction Magazine, The Westchester Review, Newtown Literary, Forklift, Ohio, among others. She was named a finalist for the 2013 Joy Harjo Poetry Prize by Cutthroat: A Journal of the Arts, and has received fellowships and residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Norman Mailer Writers Colony. Her chapbook, The Mouth of Which You Are, is due out November 2018 from Finishing Line Press.
